Horizon was established in Michigan in 2021 after years spent inside the complicated workflows behind insurance decisions—pricing, reserving, filings, underwriting, analytics, and operational change.

The studio exists to turn recurring problems into useful products, and to explore promising ideas with the discipline to distinguish a prototype from a business.
